It is rare that a comment is so compelling and pointed that a publication actually reproduces it as a stand-alone post. That’s exactly what The Health Care Blog did for a comment by RAND’s resident wellness expert, Soeren Mattke, who commented on our post about Katherine Baicker and her now infamous wellness ROI paper.
This comment should effectively deconstruct the hagiography surrounding the paper and its often-cited, but never once correct data point of 3.27:1.
